The front is a little bit trickier because now you steering to deal with nothing to hard to handle. You will need the proper tools to get the front done however. Starting with the pitman arm you will need a 1 5/16 inch socket to get the nut off of it. Now with the nut off simply attach the pitman arm puller, put a socket on it and using a breaker bar keep tightening until you can't anymore no matter how much you try, then take off the puller and hit it with a hammer and it will pop off. We tightened it so much we thought for sure it was going to break something, it just takes a lot of pressure to get it off.

Next unhook the tie rod from the pitman arm by taking the clip out and nut off then using a spreader to separate it. The springs now must be swapped on both sides and you do this the exact same way you did the back ones. The only difference is the shock setup which instead of using a bolt for the top mount uses spacers and nuts.

You also have brake drop down brackets on both sides and a track bar bracket which are all mandatory, both are the same install as the rear. Now you have both springs swapped in and it is time to deal with the steering. The kit comes with the new drop pitman arm to compensate for the lift. The pitman arm goes on the same as it came off, just slide it onto the vector shaft and tighten it to the specific torque listed in your manual.

Next attach the tie rod to the new pitman arm by slipping the bolt into the shaft and tightening the nut, you will then need to insert the pin into the nut. It would be wise also at this time to grease all your bushings and fittings.

Make sure you have torqued everything to spec, make sure your brake lines have plenty of play, hookup the battery and test!

After taking the Jeep out for the first time your springs might seem very stiff but after a wheeling trip or a couple days on the road they will settle and break in. The install is quite simple and can be done in an afternoon if you plan ahead and have the correct tools.

The End Conclusion

After having this kit installed for over a month now and fully testing it on and offroad we can contest this is a great suspension kit. It is a smooth riding spring on the road and on the trails has incredible flex, two thumbs up.
