The case cover is ready to go back on now, you must put gasket sealer around the case and not the case cover or else it will get all over your fingers and ruin the seal. We put the oil tube sticking out then bolted on the case cover. We slide the oil pump onto the shaft, connected the tube to it then installed the new snap ring. The new speedo gear went on next then the new fixed yoke housing was ready to go on. After applying gasket sealer we bolted that in place, screwed in the speedo gear assembly, and then reattach the speedo cable. It is now time to fill the case back up with fluid, we bolted in the two drain plugs used to drain the case then unbolted the drain plug on the rear, not bottom, of the case. Using a oil pump, we pumped in fluid till it began to run out of the case.

Next we reattached the front yoke bolt, reattached the front driveshaft. Now the new CV shaft was ready to go, the only difference from this and the old rear driveshaft is that bolt end has u-joints. Now we put the cross member under the Jeep and lift up one side and put the center bolt in. Put a floor jack in the middle of the cross member and jack it up enough so you have enter the center bolt on the other side. After you have that in place you may enter the rest of the bolts including the transmission bolts. After this you are finished. Drive your Jeep around the bolt and make sure everything is working properly and your speedometer is working and you are set.

The End Conclusion

After installing our suspension lift the test drive around the block at 30 M.P.H. was unbearable. So the Jeep was parked, we installed this kit, and on the test drive it drove like it did stock. The kit was simple to install and required just common tools. We have had absolutely no problems after more than four months of driving with it installed. It stopped the vibes cold, we no longer have to worry about the driveshaft slipping out and us loosing our fluid and our upcoming Bayou Geep flat belly will fit fine!
