Ford has been installing an anti-theft system in their cars for about a decade now. It is called the Ford PATS system and it uses a module that communicates with the car’s computer to tell if you are trying to start your car without using the key or remote. However, many of these modules can be easily bypassed.
So how exactly does one disable Ford PATS? The answer is simple: Bypassing! There are two main methods that work in almost every case (which we will discuss later below) but first let us address why you would even need to bypass such an advanced system. For starters, some people just don’t trust new technology like this which hasn’t been tested out enough yet so they prefer using old school analog ways of accessing their vehicles rather than
The first method is by soldering the wires on both of Ford’s PATS connectors which are located under your instrument cluster behind the plastic cover as well as onto two metal terminals found right next to each other on a small connector inside of the door (usually near where your window goes up). Once these connections are made, simply put everything back together again and start/drive car while holding down any button from either keyless entry fob or pushing that part of car handle/door itself until it locks for few seconds then unlocks automatically without having any sort of security system enabled at all. This will disable Ford PATS System immediately be sure you remember how exactly to re-enable it should you ever decide to in the future.

Conclusion
So, as you can see it is pretty easy to disable the Ford PATS system. All that you need to do is just follow few simple steps which are given in this article and everything will work fine without any problems with your car security system. There are many other methods available but in fact they don’t seem like a good option at first because they may require certain skills or special tools which only specialized technicians would own.
